A readability score above 60 is the goal for broader audience understanding and AI processing. Clear Meta Title Tag: A clear, descriptive meta title helps search engines and AI models quickly understand what your page is about. Well-written title tags provide context, improve visibility in search results, and increase the likelihood of your page being referenced or cited. For best results, use a concise, meaningful title that reflects the main topic of the page and fits within 50–60 characters. Include your primary keyword naturally and make sure the title accurately matches the page content.

FAQs for Commonly Searched Queries: The audit checks for evidence that the site is directly answering common user questions, such as “What does a Digital Marketer do exactly?” AI language models are trained on vast datasets of questions and answers. By creating dedicated FAQ sections that directly address these common queries in your niche, you make your content a perfect, pre-packaged solution for an AI to cite, dramatically increasing your chances of being featured.

Pillar 2: Schema Markup (Structured Data)

This part of the audit checks whether schema markup is implemented on your website. Schema markup helps search engines and AI systems clearly understand what your content represents.

A result of “Not Found” (Invalid) in this section means this crucial layer of context is completely absent. The recommended fix is to prioritize implementing foundational schema types like FAQPage, Article, and Organization to help AI categorize your site’s content correctly.

If you don’t already have schema implemented, one of the easiest ways to add it is through SEO plugins like Yoast SEO or Rank Math, which let you implement structured data without any coding.

Pillar 3: Core Web Vitals (Page Speed & Experience)

AI search engines prioritize websites that load quickly because they need to deliver answers to users fast. Core Web Vitals measure whether your site provides a smooth, stable, and fast experience for visitors. Sites that are slow or frustrating to navigate are less likely to be recommended or cited by AI.

  • Poor LCP (Largest Contentful Paint): This measures loading performance of the largest element on your page, usually the hero or banner image. A poor score may be a load time of over 11 seconds. The goal is to be under 2.5s (2500ms) to provide a good user experience.
  • Poor FCP (First Contentful Paint): This measures the time until the first content on your page appears (text, image), signalling the start of loading.  The goal is to aim for under 1.8s.
  • Poor CLS (Cumulative Layout Shift): This measures page stability – meaning, content doesn’t jump around unexpectedly while the page is loading. The goal is a score under 0.1.
