International Women’s Day (IWD) is a global event celebrated every year on March 8th. The day is marked to recognise the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women worldwide and to call for gender equality.
The theme for IWD 2023 is #EmbraceEquity, and it aims to raise awareness about the importance of achieving gender equality and the role that everyone can play in making it a reality.
